The maternity wing has eight beds and is manned by four mid-wife nurses operating a twenty-four-hour shift.

SMC operate both retail as well as a hospital pharmacy. The retail pharmacy sells basically over-the –counter (OTCs) drugs as well selling on a small scale, prescription drugs. The hospital pharmacy handles mainly the prescription drugs administered in the wards as well as at the emergency and casualty department.
